Certificate Verification

If you wish to verify the authenticity of a certificate or document issued by Comoros Maritime, you may submit your request via email or fax. Please ensure that all relevant certificate details are included in your enquiry.

For vessels, provide:​

– Name of the vessel
– IMO Number
– Official Number
– Type of certificate (e.g. Certificate of Registry, Radio Station Licence)
– Certificate Control Number (usually found at the bottom of the certificate, sometimes referred to as a Controlled Certificate Number on older documents)

For seafarers:​

Certificates of Endorsement (CoE) and Continuous Discharge Certificates (CDC) can be verified online depending on the format of the document number.

– Visit https://portal.comorosmaritime.org/certificate_validators/new
– Enter the Document Control Number
– Provide the seafarer’s first name and surname
– Enter the date of birth
– Review the information and proceed with the verification request

Steps to Register

Review registration requirements

Download and review the applicable registration procedures and eligibility requirements relevant to the vessel type and intended registration.

Complete the required application forms

Prepare and complete the prescribed application forms together with all supporting documentation required for registration.

Submit documentation for review

Submit the completed application and supporting documents to the Comoros Maritime Administration, an authorized maritime registrar, or an approved service provider for assessment and approval.
