Ownership Requirements
There are no restrictions on the ownership of vessels registered under the Comoros flag. Registration is open to Comorian entities, foreign corporations, and individual owners. All applicants are subject to the Administration’s Know Your Client (KYC) and due-diligence procedures at the time of enquiry or application.
Ownership structures must comply with the applicable provisions of the Merchant Shipping legislation and associated regulations administered by the Comoros Maritime Administration.
